Solamh and I at the 24 hr performance
Thanks to Julia Healy for the amazing photos of the 24 Hour performance at the Fás building for Culture Night.
Roman Opałka was a French-born Polish painter who painted numbers. In 1965 he began painting a process of counting – from one to infinity. Starting in the top left-hand corner of the canvas and finishing in the bottom right-hand corner, the tiny numbers were painted in horizontal rows. As of July 2004, he had reached 5.5 million. THIS IS CLASS
What can I say. It took six months to actually achieve, but, this past Culture Night, I managed to pull off a 24 hour improvised performance with many of my really good friends.
It was loud, quiet, noisy, proggy, jazzy and something really special. This is totally the start of something.
From this diagram you can see the connection between the basic platonic solids and the formation of the most primary types of germs and microbiological forms. I believe most of the items here are viruses, but it’s their formation and shape that drives curiosity.
This is really interesting
